Drug that helps smokers quit may help drinkers too

A drug already approved to help smokers quit may also help curb drinking, according to new research. Rats trained for months to consume high amounts of alcohol cut their drinking in half after taking just one dose of the drug, and scientists have hope the same will be true for humans.
