Child detox success lauded

A new law that allows parents to force their drug-addicted children into detox facilities helped dozens of Central Alberta youths in its first year. The Protection of Children Abusing Drugs Act came into effect last July 1 following a bill introduced by Red Deer North MLA Mary Anne Jablonski.
